We are “Works In Progress”

No person is perfect or ever will be perfect, and no one will ever be right all the time.

We all fail, we all make mistakes we all fall over and slip up from time to time.

No one is perfect and no one will ever be perfect, so please don’t put other people up on a pedestal and idolise and worship them, no one is better than you.

Please don’t expect yourself to be perfect, that kind of pressure on yourself is unnatural and will make your life very hard as you will come to expect far more from yourself and others than you or they can deliver.

Being real is understanding that no human or animal can be perfect.

We are not robots, “thank Heavens for that” or life would be so boring as we all looked identical and do the exact same perfect things each day.

Embrace your differences from other people, be happy that your mistakes teach you and enjoy the challenges that come your way - this is the human way.

How many times have you surprised yourself and done something you had once only hoped to do, or done something you thought was impossible?

Even though I’ve surprised myself many times, I can still get caught up in doubt.

Often we think that once we achieve success or fulfil our dreams, we then get the prize of staying “there” for the rest of our lives.

Actually, there is no “there,” we’re always a work in progress with new heights to reach for and new breakthroughs before us.

No matter how much we achieve, new obstacles will present themselves and to varying degrees our doubts, fears and hesitations will accompany them.

Whether or not you’ve ever gone beyond your limitations or only just hoped to, it’s something we can all do. Sometimes we just need some extra help and a good boost.
