Cleaning House
Housework can be very boring and a struggle on days when one does not feel motivated.
A well known idea is to play music while you do the housework, and open windows and doors to let the fresh air in. If you are into audio books play one of them while you do the housework. If your spouse doesn't like that tell them to do the housework :-)
In the Kitchen I take the roundabout technique. I start at the kitchen stove, clean all of that, then to the Kitchen sink, the bench, all on one side, and then when that is done I start on the other side at the fridge and work my way to the pantry.
I don’t sweep the floor until all that is done, and then when the floor is swept I mop it, then go have a coffee.
It is not wise to mix cleaning fluids as that can cause dangerous fumes which people have been known to die from, another reason why it is wise to keep the doors and windows open. Ammonia and Bleach mixed can create a chemical called chloramine which can damage your lungs and can cause death.
After the coffee then move on to another room and use the same method to clean that room.
Use a system if you want to, and use it according to how your house is.
If you Homeschool
incorporate the cleaning into everyday life, everyone cleans up after themselves,
everyone.
Keep the cleaning gear in a locked cupboard, child safe cupboard or in the laundry room.
