Making a King or Queen’s Crown.

Children want to do a play on Kings and Queens, or just for playtime, then they will need a crown to make the game more authentic. Grab yourself an A4 piece of paper or whatever.

4 Cm/1 ½ Inches.
6 ½ Cm/2 ½ Inches.
10 cm/4 Inches.
Measure these spaces with a ruler and mark them on the paper.
as is shown here.
Now draw this curve in either free-hand
or by the measurements shown
Use a plate or something
curved to help you.
Until it looks like this!
Here I added a strip of paper
to make the crown wider.
Here I am adding some paper to
make the crown adjustable.
You don’t have to make your crown adjustable, it was just an experiment I tried and it works.

This is the adjustable part where the strip of paper that goes around the person/child’s head goes into.

The loop is slightly wider than the strip of paper so that it moves freely as is seen in the image below. You can colour it, paint it, what you want.

Now put the crown on for size, when you get the right size you
can put a bit of tape at the end to tape it to the inside of the crown.

Yeah!
My first curve was 4 ½ cm - 7 cm and then the next went to the center.
