How to Stop a Mat from Moving!

This is a simple, yet useful project for the home.

It should take only a few minutes to complete.

I had a mat that was always slipping on a tiles floor.
The tiles are large and any mat I put on the tiles in the toilet and bathroom floors would slide.

I remembered the non-slip friction mat review I wrote and decided to use that under the mat to see if it would stop moving.

Just take the non slip material and cut it to the size of your mat with a pair of scissors, thats all the work you have to do. Just be sure to cut the non-slip mat smaller than your floor mat so that it covers the non-slip mat and no one can see that it is there.

Another possibility is that you could cut strips or squares of non-slip mat material to put under a mat to hold it in place instead of a big rectangle that is nearly the size of your mat. Cutting strips or squares saves you from using too much non-slip mat material.

Next you put the non-slip mat on the floor/tiles, and then put your normal mat on top.

So far the mat has stayed where I put it.

How's that for a simple, fast, yet useful home project.

All the best from
