Writing - Moral Stories and Writing.

In my opinion we are morally obligated to give our children a moral education. I was a Homeschool years before I became a believer in God, but I still wanted my children as an Atheist to have good moral standards as I saw them before I fund God.

What they do with themselves after they leave home is their own choice as adults, but a foundation of good moral values taught t them when they are children at least lets them know that there is such a way to live as adults, and the values of good moral standards are good along with decency, being honourable, honest and truthful. We can teach them that the rewards of being a good decent soul are worth the effort and love that we share to others.

There is this belief that parents have children, the parents living to be workers and entertained and let the children develop their own characters without any real help from home - I strongly disagree.

I felt always that it was always my responsibility to try my best to be the best person that I can be for my children and at least offer them opportunities or at least enlighten them to knowing that the opportunities and good life are there for them should they want that lifestyle as adults.

My feelings are that adding moral stories to the child’s education is important.

Some of my atheist uncles and aunties sent their children to Catholic Schools with the desire that the schools teach them the good moral standards that the parents admit that they struggle to teach them.

As a Homeschooler Parent you can teach your own children morals and good values by incorporating them into the child’s learning.

Below is an example from Jimmy about two snails who go out of the forest to much out on some marigolds which they love to eat, but one of them eats a Slug-Slam pellet (poison) and soon discovers that the mushrooms back in the forest are far safer to eat than the glowing flashy marigolds of the cities.

All the best from
