Cleaning Plastic Bottle Spouts.

When using plastic cups and bottles please be aware that due to them being plastic that if in the inside they get scratched in the cleaning process then inside the scratches can become places where mould and gross things can sit and then make the drinker very unwell. And while you and the doctor are trying to find out what is the cause of the user of the plastic bottle being unwell the person who is unwell is taking that plastic bottle for walks, runs, to school, work, out cycling etc with no idea that the cause of their stomach issues is in the bottle that they are using.

I have a few plastic bottles and cups, but I prefer glass.

If the bottle lid is as the one is Image 1 is, then the spout can hold a lot of guck and mould. It can get really gross.

Inside the lid where the arrow is pointing we can see a small tooth that sticks out and holds the spout in place.

There is one on each side, if they are pressed inwards the spot nozzle can be removed for cleaning.

Just get some pliers from the toolbox, press in the two Tabs and pull out the nozzle for cleaning.

Its that simple. When you are finished just push the spout back it. When cleaning plastics the less scratching the less chance of mould and gunk inside.

I hope this is useful.
