Director Philippe Condroyer.
This is an excellent movie about Tintin with marvellous acting from real actors that really do look like the cartoon characters by Hergé, a must for all true Tintin fans to watch.
If you are English you may want the DVD with English subtitles.
Professor Calculus on TV broadcasts an appeal to help end world hunger in his usual
way spoken with much excitement and emotion. One day he receives a parcel and within
is a blue orange, there is no letter included so Professor Calculus, Tintin and Captain
Haddock are none the wiser of the reason for receiving such a strange orange that
glows in the dark.
The Blue Orange came from Professor Zalamea, and when the Blue
Orange is stolen from Marlinspike Hall, Professor Calculus decides to go alone and
find Professor Zalamea. Refusing to let Calculus travel alone on this new adventure,
Calculus is accompanied by Tintin, the Captain, and Snowy, as they all go to Valencia.
Tintin meets a boy playing marbles and from then on things get very exciting, and yes, Thompson and Thomson are there as well.
An exciting movie, lots of action and thrills, as the living actors play their parts very well, and convincingly.
A must for a Tintin fan, and a DVD for any Tintin collection.
I wish that they had used these actors for a few Tintin movies rather than just the one, but thats life.
Jean-Pierre Talbot as Tintin is convincing in his role, and a delight to watch him take our cartoon character and bring him to life on the screen. Movie recommended.
All the best from
