Mako Workshop Vacuum Cleaner 21L
I was wanting a garage vacuum and there are plenty of them about but the price range is $99 like this Mako and off into the thousands and complex vacuum systems for sucking the dust etc.
Wet and Dry function
Blower function
Large dust capacity
Convenient handle for easy dust releasing
1400W
Capacity: 21L
1.5m Hose
Cable length: 5m
Washable cloth bag
HEPA Filter
I kept seeing this vacuum when I was at the Warehouse store here in Tokoroa and finally I gave in and bought the Mako vacuum. To my surprise it is very efficient and far superior to the old vacuum I was using in the garage.
I have discovered that it does an excellent job in the garage and also in the house, sucking up animal hair like the more expensive house vacuums of the $700 price range.
My Mako vacuum had two vacuuming heads, one for the garage and a different one for the house.
Inside the vacuum you can use the bag or the huge bin, but if you don’t use the bag you have to buy a filter more often as it is not protected like when the bag is used. You can’t use the bag while vacuuming liquids.
This is a wet and dry vacuum, so it can be used for cleaning up liquids. I have not
used it for that.
It is very easy to use outside for cleaning the car, and underneath
are wheels that help the vacuum roll along the floor when you are vacuuming.
For its price this is a very good entry level vacuum cleaner for the garage and a good one for inside the house as well, and has so far performed far better than I expected.
This Wet and Dry Vacuum is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications and handy for cleaning up around the home, in the family car, and garage/shed when doing renovations or DIY projects, as it was designed to do. Recommended, and especially recommended for those on a tight budget.
With the many chemicals in wood, when doing wood projects it is wise to sue face masks and have a decent vacuum handy for sucking up that dust and for attaching to tools.
All the best from
